Our Story
Jeff Carr has been in the transportation business for nearly three decades.
Year after year, he’d watch operations grind to a halt every time a spotter would break down. As transportation manager, it was his job to scramble for a rental truck, calling everywhere to find a solution.
One day, he bought a spotting truck.
For a long time, Suburban Spotting was a rental-only service. Jeff continued to work his day job, while more and more demand rolled in for his side *hostle.* Eventually, the need was so great that Jeff made Suburban Spotting his full-time gig, growing steadily in both equipment and personnel. He also enlisted the help of his wife, Vicky, to drive the administrative side of things, making her a partner in this family-owned, woman-owned business.
Today, Suburban Spotting boasts a fleet of trucks and a crew of dedicated, exceptional, drivers. Our motto is: “Take care of your drivers, and they’ll take care of you.”
